Mary is completing her first year as our VP for Programs. She spent 17 years as a marketing and management professor. Prior to that, she served in a variety of marketing and purchasing roles. She was active in a Chicago organization linking BIPOC-owned vendors with major corporations. Among her myriad of social justice activities, she’s been actively involved in legislating GLBTQ rights, created the first recycling center in a rural county and, for several years, chaired the largest fundraiser for a church with a large homeless ministry. She was also chair of the Chicago board of directors for a NFP for the reading-disabled. She is on the Social Justice Committee and manages the Monday Book Group.
